AODA Accessibility Audits and Accessibility Testing
You need an accessible website, we can help.
Ontario companies and organizations with more than 49 employees are required to make their website accessible to meet Ontario’s multi-phase accessibility laws. Even if your company is smaller than 49, an accessible website can be good for business as one in seven Ontarians has a disability.
Already Have a Site?
If your current website wasn’t built with accessibility in mind it most-likely doesn’t meet Ontario’s standards. We’ll help you identify if your existing website meets accessibility requirements. If it doesn’t, we’ll create a plan and provide support to get you there.
About to Develop a New Site?
When creating a new website you need to plan for accessibility from the start and ensure it’s a consideration at every phase of development. We include accessibility throughout our design process for new sites.
If you’re looking for an experienced web accessibility partner, we can help:
- Audit and test your website, application or documents (PDF) against AODA, WCAG 2.1 standards
- Provide a plan to improve accessibility
- Modify your website to make it accessible
- Train your team to enter accessible content
- Provide ongoing accessibility monitoring
- Design and develop new websites, applications, documents and graphics that are accessible

FAQ’s
Companies and organizations with 50+ employees operating in Ontario must provide a WCAG AA compliant site under the Accessibility for Ontarians Disability Act (AODA). In a nutshell, your website, public online documents and digital communication needs to be accessible.
Accessible websites are created in a manner that allows everyone to use them without limitations regardless of ability or technology. WCAG, short for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, outlines specific requirements that websites must meet to offer an accessible experience.
Every site is different but some factors that impact cost are the number of pages, templates, UI components, forms and functionality. If your site is fairly basic an audit shouldn’t cost much. If your site is very large or has complex technology and interactions an audit will be a larger project. Starting out with a quick audit is a good first step to gauge how much work might be needed for a full audit.
No, if you work with a design firm that incorporates accessibility throughout the entire development process, it won’t cost more.
Yes, we provide accessibility recommendations with our audits and then assist development teams with implementation and retesting.
