Sustainable Waterloo Region 2018

The 2018 Year End Report saw a couple of changes – in the design and with the team.

To support budding graphic designers, Studio Locale supported a soon-to-graduate graphic design student from Conestoga College’s Graphic Design Program in creating the year end report. Working as a in intern at the studio, the placement offers a 3rd year student the opportunity to work on a real life project that can be included in their portfolio.

During this year’s report development, the idea to ‘flip’ the report mid-way creating a moment of “wait, what?”, reflected the urgent call to action that now more than ever, we need to make changes before we pass a point of no return.
